After graduating from law school, Mr. Shelton began his career working for the City of Fort Worth as a Felony Prosecutor for Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office. He prosecuted various felonies for eight years. From there, he branched out from criminal to civil where he transitioned into civil insurance defense. Over the past 25 years, he has practiced as a Senior Trial Attorney for both Liberty Mutual and The Hartford.

Mr. Shelton joined Collins Hinderliter in 2021 and now works in a reduced capacity focusing primarily on preparing litigation reports for insurance adjusters, attending mediations, and representing the firm’s clients in depositions.
